From the series of drawings exploring class, race and gentrification in London.
The series of drawings of Tarquin and Babadunte are observation studies based on people I met over the years around London. Due to gentrification and cross cultural fertilisation I was meeting and mixing with people from all facets of society. The juxtapositions of there lives and how through music, love and community, I would meet characters who became a huge influence for my work. Class collided with culture and through my curious lens I viewed it with philiosophical humour, interest and intrigue.
