Available as a Ltd Editon hand-finished Giclee print, from the archives of 2018.
The initial drawing as on ledger sheet and formed part of a series of work on bikers. The box, racer type. The drawings were done in response to 'Green London' and the drive for people to be riding there bikes. I did a series of observation drawings and sketches of young people riding there bikes around East London. The same applied whether it be a Boris / Santander bike or a BMX. Biking was cool and in the heatwave of 2018, riding a bike was the thing to do to get yourself around London. I saw every type possible. The original drawing is on a ledger sheet dated 1939.
Ride Me is a response to the celebration of getting on your bike and riding around town and see the great city that is London.
