From a series of paintings on board produced in 2019. Taking inspiration from African ceremonial masks and sculptures my works on wood fuses my love of paint, texture and the portrait. This painting is a study of the the different facets of black beauty and the diversity of the shades of black people. An albino is black though they lack the melanin in there skin that gives them the 100% black skin colour

Shadeism is a form of predujice or discrimination that occurs from members of the same race in which people are treated differently based on the social implications from cultural meanings attached to skin colour.
